communities for asking our Rutherford County Delegation and myself to carry a bill to name a portion of Highway 231 in honor Chase Donnell, a brave and caring young man, it will be called “Chase Donnell Memorial Highway”.

Chase first learned in November 2007 he was granted a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee, and it was his final wish to have the gymnasium renovated for his classmates to enjoy.

Chase lost his battle with cancer in 2008, but won the “Victory” for touching the hearts of many in Walter Hill and Rutherford County. If anyone wants to attend meet us at Walter Hill Elementary School at 8am tomorrow.

Thank you to Rep. Dawn White and Senators Jim Tracy and Bill Ketron for assisting with the bill. Got a feeling that tomorrow many who have been broken-hearted will be lifted up with such a worthy honor for this young boy.
